Cancellation Policy

At Sail & Protect we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. Our cancellation policy aims to offer flexibility to our clients while protecting the availability of our boats and the operation of our business.

– More than 30 days before the departure date: Full refund of the deposit.

– Between 30 and 15 days before: The full amount paid as a deposit will be retained.

– Less than 15 days before: No refund of the deposit.

If, due to weather conditions, unforeseen maintenance or force majeure (e.g. government restrictions, health emergencies), we are unable to provide the booked boat:

– Rescheduling will be offered at no additional cost, subject to availability.

– If rescheduling is not possible, a boat with similar characteristics will be offered.

– If none of the above options is feasible, a full refund of the payment made will be issued with no penalty for the client.

Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 7 days in advance. If the change involves a price difference, the additional amount must be covered.

Safety is our priority. If the skipper or person in charge of delivering the boat considers that weather conditions do not allow safe navigation, the departure may:

– Be rescheduled at no cost.

– Be refunded 100% if no availability is found for rescheduling.

Light rain or non-ideal but safe conditions will not be grounds for cancellation without penalty.

If the client does not show up on the day of the booking without prior notice, there will be no refund or right to rescheduling.
